Every request from the couple becomes a new version of the quote.
A different course, more guests, a different drinks package: in Word or Excel you recalculate everything.
Version 4 is signed, the kitchen works with version 3.
And a forgotten surcharge or a wrong number only shows up after the event.
The couple chooses, the quote calculates.
For each package, a choice list per course: starter, soup, main course, sauce and dessert. A premium dish only adds its surcharge.
On confirmation, the quote itself calculates quantity and price per person.
Each chosen dish gets the number of guests. If 60 guests choose meat and 50 fish, you adjust that per dish.
The kitchen works with the same version as the client.
The kitchen step of the event shows the same dishes and quantities as the quote. Changing means choosing, not recalculating.
One quote, always the right version.
Do you recognise this in your quotes?
"They want fish instead of meat after all, and twelve more guests. So I'm back to spending an hour recalculating that quote."
Quote with fixed sections and packages with a choice list per course; quantity follows the number of guests and the price per person is recalculated on confirmation (demo environment).
Software for caterers and event venues: one file per event, from quote to kitchen.
