Software for kitchen manufacturers and kitchen installers

A kitchen is a project with many suppliers and one fixed installation day. Lean is software for kitchen manufacturers and kitchen installers who want quote, survey, production, appliance purchasing, installation and invoice in one file per customer.

Does this sound familiar?

  1. The oven arrives a week lateInstallation is booked, but one appliance has not come in. Nobody noticed before the crew left.
  2. The worktop does not fitA dimension was retyped from the survey into the order, and the worktop is two centimetres short.
  3. The customer rings for an updateWhen is the delivery? When is the fitter coming? The answer exists, but it is in somebody's inbox.

One file per kitchen

  1. 1
QuoteCabinets, worktops, appliances and installation as lines, with options and extras. Packages at a fixed price keep that price. On each line you see the cost price and the margin.
  2. 2
SurveyThe survey sits on the file, with the site conditions recorded with the address. We build the form from building blocks, for your kind of kitchens.
  3. 3
PurchasingAppliances, worktops and parts are ordered from your suppliers, reserved for that order. Whatever arrives, the warehouse books in with the phone.
  4. 4
ProductionIf you make cabinets or fronts yourself, the order becomes production orders with their bill of materials.
  5. 5
InstallationThe fitter sees the assignment on the phone and records hours, materials and photos.
  6. 6
InvoiceDeposit and final invoice go out from the same file.

Your design package and your quote

A kitchen is designed before it is sold. Lean can receive quote lines from a design package through an integration: the lines arrive on the quote, and Lean prices them from its own price lists. Such an integration already exists for a kitchen and interior design package. We look at the package you use together.

Your customer sees where their kitchen stands

In the customer portal, your customer sees their quotes and the schedule of their work orders: when delivery and installation take place. They do not have to ring to find out where things stand.

After installation, the file remains. A later visit is scheduled as a work order on the same file, with the history of what was done before.

Is everything in before installation day?

IRP links each step to the information it needs: the approved drawing, the choice of appliances, the deposit, the confirmed deliveries. For each step, you see what is still missing and who has to supply it. An installation that cannot go ahead shows up in the office.

What did this kitchen earn?

Quote, purchases, hours and extra work sit on the same file. Lean places what you budgeted next to what it actually became, so you see per kitchen whether the margin went on a more expensive appliance, an extra worktop or extra installation hours.

Frequently asked questions about kitchen software

Does Lean suit both a kitchen manufacturer and an installer?

Yes. A manufacturer uses production orders with bills of materials and the shop floor. An installer mainly uses appliance purchasing, installation scheduling and the mobile work order. The file is the same.

Can Lean read quotes from my design package?

There is an integration through which a design package sends quote lines to Lean. For your package, we look at what is needed in advance.

Does my customer see when their installation is scheduled?

Yes, in the customer portal they see the schedule of their work orders and their quotes.
