Wings accounting integration with Lean ERP

You keep your accounts in Wings and want to manage orders, projects and invoicing in an ERP. With the Wings integration you create the invoices in Lean, and Lean sends them to Wings together with the customer details.

Which data goes to Wings?

The Wings integration is an online connection: Lean sends the invoices directly to Wings and receives a reply for each invoice.

Invoices and credit notesSales invoices and credit notes from Lean, with their lines and VAT.
ContactsThe customer goes across to Wings, with the account number that applies to them in Wings.
FeedbackFor each invoice you see in Lean whether Wings accepted it, and when.

The Wings account number, per customer and per company file

In Wings, every customer has their own number. If you work with several companies or company files, that customer may have a different number in each one.

That is why the partner record in Lean gets an Accounting tab as soon as your accounting package is Wings. It shows the customer number and supplier number from Wings per invoicing entity. If the number in Wings is simply the Lean partner number, you copy it over in one click.

The tab only appears for organisations that work with Wings. Others do not see it.

In which direction?

Invoices and contacts go from Lean to Wings. The accounts, the VAT return and payments stay in Wings.

With this connection, payments do not come back to Lean. To see in Lean what has been paid, you record the payment on the invoice in Lean.

Conditions and limitations

Complete accounting detailsBefore posting, Lean checks that the details Wings needs are filled in, and holds back an incomplete invoice.
Several company filesSeveral Wings company files from one Lean environment is a setting we switch on at the start.
No double sendingLean marks the invoices in a run; an invoice that has been sent does not go again.
Pro forma stays in LeanA pro forma invoice does not go to accounting.

Standard connection and versions

The connection with Wings is a standard connection in Lean. Per customer we set up which company files, which journals per invoicing entity, and which account numbers.

Which edition of Wings you use is something we look at in the first meeting, so that the connection can talk to your installation.

How is it set up?

  1. 1
Company files and journalsPer invoicing entity we record the Wings company file and the journal codes.
  2. 2
Account numbersWe take over the customer numbers from Wings in the Accounting tab, or use the Lean partner number.
  3. 3
Trial runWe send a first batch of invoices to Wings and check them together.
  4. 4
In useFrom then on, your invoicing team marks the invoices and Lean passes them on.
